Review summary
Very pleased with this cruise considering I have been an anti-cruise person. I believe Disney is the difference and the value is there for the extra money. Alaska is a sensible cruise destination given logistics in the state. This trip had spectacular scenery with a variety of diverse experiences at each port of call. The Disney difference was in the superior service and cleanliness of the ship in addition to the activities/entertainment - while targeted for kids something for everyone and places for adults to take refuge. Highly recommend and worth paying up for balcony given diverse and dynamic views. I did book several excursions separately - in general 2/3 were same outfit Disney used at lower prices. Some prefer the security or convenience booking through Disney offers but do not think it is requisite.Embarkation
