While we certainly enjoyed our Alaskan cruise, we prefer the Fantasy over the Wonder by leaps and bounds. Eat at Tiana's Place, avoid the buffet as much as you can.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
The embarkation process in Vancouver is almost as tidy as Port Canaveral in Florida. Almost. The only portion we didn't care for were the waiting areas. The chairs were far too small for adults and far too many crammed into small areas. The Disney staff were phenomenal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining rooms (Tiana's Place, Triton's and Animators Palace) were pretty good. Especially Tiana's. Do not order the green beans in any of them. Excessively buttered. Beyond excessively. Overall we felt the Fantasy ship had superior dining.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Lots of fun adult activities in the adult lounges. We were on stage taking part in many of the trivia nights. The host Jo Slo was fantastic!!!
The stage shows in the Walt Disney Theater were pretty decent. The lead female singer in The Golden Mickeys gave new meaning to shrill but the show itself was cute.
We travelled without children so we cannot directly comment on that.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
As previously mentioned the stage shows are pretty good. They also had the hilarious comedy duo Buckets-n-Boards in both an adult lounge and the Walt Disney Theater for a family friendly version. They are a must see!!!!
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The staff overall were amazing!!! Though we felt that the staff on the Fantasy seemed happier. There were some sour grapes on the Wonder.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The Wonder was clean and overall effectively maintained. They do need to rip up the hallways where the staterooms are located. To say they were uneven and literally lumpy doesn't come close. The ship's recent makeover was clearly cosmetic and nothing deeper.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
We were disappointed in our stateroom as when we booked the cruise (while on another cruise), we were expressly assured the room was larger than our room on the Fantasy. That was categorically incorrect. My spouse and I are both 6ft plus. We kept hitting our heads on the ceiling in the shower and the toilets felt like using a potty training seat.
Ship tip
Advice: Please keep in mind that the Wonder is a very small ship. And it's older. Avoid the midship elevators at all cost. Seriously, avoid them.
While we certainly enjoyed our Alaskan cruise, we prefer the Fantasy over the Wonder by leaps and bounds.
Our absolute favorite port. The stores, restaurants and excursions were better than expected. We did the aqua duck bus tour and the lumberjack show. We could have stayed here for a few days.
