Review summary
My family of 6 (3 adults/3kids) just returned from our trip to the Bahamas on the Disney Wonder. This is a great cruise for families with children. The Disney characters are all over the place signing autographs and taking pictures (expect to spend some money on the professional pics, they ALL look great). The kids program is amazing, they didn't want to leave, plus they keep them occupied making Flubber and cookies till midnight. And of course, when they announced they were premEARing the movie CARS on the ship, it was a plus. They have fireworks in the middle of the ocean (leave it to Disney to do that). Great food, very clean, nicely decorated, and the friendliest staff. But the best thing about it all had to be Castaway Cay, the private island, beautifull beaches, clear water, and the snorkeling lagoon provided everything I was looking for, especially on the deeper side: lots of fishes (hundreds actually, and big ones), the Mickey statue, sunken vessels, and yes... even barracudas. I have to say, we were one of the last families to get back on the ship.Ship experiences

Pros: Castaway Cay (the private island)
Cons: Some common areas were small, so it felt very crowded
