Review summary

We did this cruise to celebrate my 60th birthday with a few friends. It did not disappoint! We all had a great time and enjoyed the service Disney is known for. Only one day of rain but even then there we ample things to do onboard. Best entertainment options by far of any cruiseline we've done.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No lines, no crowds! We were on the ship in less than 15 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the three dining rooms was fantastic! The pizza on the lido deck was better than I expected, very cheesy. Burgers and hot dogs were very good. The BBQ in the island was great! The ribs were delicious!! The Lido marketplace is smaller than other ships and can be a little hectic but people flow through really well and there are ample food stations to prevent bottlenecks.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We pretty much stayed in the 18 and over Cove area as our entire party were over 60. The Cove chairs are comfortable and the pool and bar areas are well maintained. Get's a little crowded on sea days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
First time in a while that we've gone to all the production shows and they were awesome!

Children's Programs

All over 60

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every crew memeber we encountered were very friendly and provided outstanding service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As Disney's oldest ship, the stateroom bath room showers are a little small but everything you need is there and in working order. Our steward kept the room spotless. The beds are well maintained with no noticable sagging.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Only got on the ship from airport

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Rained most of the day

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

5 out of 5
Everything screams DISNEY! All new facilities, tram ride from pier to the activities area. Very nice layout with two family beach areas and an adult only area. As mentioned earlier, the BBQ was fantastic! No line for food, pleanty of seating. Didn't feel like ants crawling around to find a place to enjoy our meal. Lots of activities available with roaming wait staff if you required any beverages.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Second time cruising Disney and they have it figured out! We did express walk-off and only waited a few minutes onboard to walk through the security area, right into the terminal, throught the digital recognition custmons and outside in less than 10 minutes.
