Review summary

The food and adult entertainment was fabulous. However, my grandchildren 9 & 5 had a very poor time in the Children's Centers. Frankly, there wasn't much for the children to do. Neither child was enticed to go. This was a major disappointment and surprise. We had always heard that this was a cruise that children would love. Not so on this cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Adult activities were just ok. I had 2 spa treatments (facial & massage) and they were not as good as the price warranted. We were especially disappointed for our grandchildren 9 & 5. Their activities fell FAR SHORT. The children didn't like going to the children centers.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The magician and comedian were fabulous. The last show had MANY technical problems...Spotlight not following the actors, mic failure, fog so thick that you couldn't see the actors and the list goes on and on. Very poor production.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
They were not engaged at all.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiter Marko and room steward were fabulous. In fact all the staff that I interacted with were friendly, helpful and informative.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We appreciate that the shower/tub was separated from the toilet. There were 2 sinks on each side of the restroom (1 with the shower/tub and 1 with the toilet). Very nice design and very clean.

Ship tip

Don't expect the app that allows you to chat with members of your party to work. My husband's app never worked even though we sought help from customer service.

Galveston, Texas

Wow, I am so surprised. My last cruise on Disney was in 2017, so maybe it has changed, but my kids could not be convinced to leave the kids club. We cruised five times with Disney from 2008 to 2017, so my kids did all the kids club, from Explorer to the Vibe.
