Review summary

The Disney Magic was a wonderful ship. Disney really knows how to make a vacation magical. The ship was larger than I expected and the cabins were a great size. We had a family of 4 and were very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable that we could have slept the day away. The ship was very clean and the staff was always cleaning and maintaining the ship. We were given antibacterial wipes everytime we entered a resturant or restroom to help maintain cleaniness. The kids loved the pool and spent lots of time enjoying it. There was entertainment on the stage in front of the pool all afternoon. There was also a large screen TV at the pool which showed Disney movies throughout the day. What a great addition to an already great pool area. We also enjoyed spending private time at the adult pool. The kids were consistently entertained and especially loved the kids clubs. My 10 year old didn't even want to have dinner with us several nights because he was having so much fun with club activities.

Food and Dining

The food was wonderful!! Loved the desserts. We enjoyed eating at the all-adult resturant Palo. It was the best dining experience we ever had.

Entertainment

Pirate night on the pool deck was fantastic. Everyone got invloved and we had a blast. All the activities throughout the ship were fantastic. The shows in the theater were as good as a broadway show. They were so great!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids clubs were divided by age and we found that the activities were very age appropiate. My kids loved the kids clubs and the staff. The great thing about a Disney cruise vacation is that there are family appropriate activities available throughout the ship all day and night. The characters are very accessible and the kids loved seeing them all over the ship.

Service and Staff

Beds were so comfortable. My kids like the bed that came out of the wall and said it was comfortable too.

Ports of call

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

This is the greatest!! Disney has designed the island to satisfy everyone desires. The water was beautiful and crystal clear. We tented floats and enjoyed relaxing. There were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The kids enjoyed the water activity area as well as participating in the kid's club activities on the island. We never wanted to leave this paradise.

We were surprised that the french side of the island was so dirty.

Pros: We loved all of the available acivities. There was plenty to do to keep everyone busy and satisified. We especially loved the shows at night. They were top notch !

Cons: We sometimes felt the movement of the ship in the resturants because they were located in the very rear of the ship. If you are prone to sea sickness, it was a little uncomfortable.
