Review summary

This was our second Disney cruise, and it honestly might be the last. This time around it just didn't feel worth the extra cost over other comparable cruise lines.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
This was my biggest issue. The food in Cabanas (the buffet) was really not good. The main dining food was better, but still not great. Beverages were fine, but I wish there were more places on board to get water.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My daughter loved the kids club and all of the character sightings. She also really enjoyed all the water activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The performers were great. We didn't get to see the shows due to lack of available seating.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Oceaneer Club and Lab were great. Edge was just okay for my tween.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered was excellent

Ship Quality

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
My son tested positive for covid on the last day, so our disembarkation was a little different. We were not allowed to disembark until the rest of the ship cleared (save for the other covid-positive parties), but our disembarkation was easy and efficient.

Why did they test your son? Just asking because we are going on the Fantasy in November and hope not to be required to test on board. Unless obviously sick of course.
