Always happy to spend time with family. Way too many people for the ship.
Embarkation

Got on early. Walked to concierge lounge.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Concierge lounge drinks -great; food same each day. Main dining rooms - food pretty bad. One night tried 3 entrees - vegetarian-none good. Even desserts uninspired. Also small portions. Buffet - crowded. Typical buffet food - nothing special.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The water slide top ship was a highlight. Did it twice. Pools and whirlpools crowded! Whirlpool in concierge was nice. Fitness center fine, but crowded. Walking track on deck 4 was nice. The bingo was terrible-for pros, I guess. Brought 11 yo to play bingo - $25/3 cards/4 games, but - most (and all winners) had the iPads with 48 cards each! And the caller, screamed into the microphone for 45 minutes of hell!
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Beauty and the beast - enjoyable. Other two shows seemed to be just showing all the characters. Piano man in one small bar was good, but nowhere to sit.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
11 yo wasn’t allowed in the younger club, and was too young for the older kids club. 5 yo enjoyed everything.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was outstanding! Stewart and assistant were excellent. Towel animals were impressive too. Concierge bar tenders - excellent.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Clean, but so crowded the design of pools, whirlpools, buffets - are not adequate for the number of people.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Excellent!
Ship tip
If you can afford it, pay for concierge. If not, plan on crowds. Pools - standing room only.
I agree with you on the crowded feel of the Disney Dream. We cruised last winter and the crowd was a detriment to enjoying our time. Has it always been like that on Disney ships? It was our 1st (and last) Disney cruise.
I have to agree. The food on the ships post pandemic has been blah at best. Seems like since they switched to the new Emeril menu it can be all but inedible. The best food by far was on the Glory Feb 2023 but they were still using the tried but true menu. Personally, I feel like they fixed something that wasn't broke. Just my opinion. Others may feel differently.
