Review summary

We will never do another Disney cruise. My daughter who was with us probably will since this was her fifth Disney cruise. It was our second and not nearly as good as the other one. Even my adult daughter who is a big Disney fan said she would go with us on Cunard where we are diamond members because it sound better to her than what we experienced on this cruise.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
It took hours to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food choices were sometimes disappointing.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did trivia and enjoyed it a lot.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The Beauty and the Beast show was postponed and then had to be stopped part way through. The Buena Vista theater seats were so uncomfortable we didn’t stay for the movie.

Children's Programs

We had no children with us

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff were good except for boarding and getting off the ship. Then they were terrible. Our steward was good and servers in the restaurant were good.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
During meals the bathrooms near the venu were being cleaned and especially people with little kids couldn’t use them.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was laid out comfortably. The tub was hard to get into. A high step over to get in.

Ship tip

Make a plan to get off. I’m not sure what they could do when it is a free for all and not organized by the staff.

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
We stayed in New York before the cruise. We did not take an excursion

King's Wharf, Bermuda

3 out of 5
The excursion we tried to sign up for was sold out so we were on our own. The ferry to Hamilton left before we could get off the ship. Kings Wharf was ok but far away from everything.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
It was unorganized and a free for all. Our driver had to wait an hour an a half for us to get off.

I wish people would STOP dropping bits of information, then walk out the room. WHY was Beauty & Beast stopped abruptly in the middle of the show?? Thanks for the review, I just wish people would bring the details.

My plan for disembarking is wait until everyone is off, then I can exit and not fight crowds.

It just confuses me when embarkation and disembarkation are so poor. Cruise lines do this routinely, they should have it down pat.
