Review summary

Having not experienced a cruise in over 10 years I was not sure what to expect. Overall, we have a lovely time. My child still believes in magic which made this cruise ideal for her. There was a slight feeling of understaffing in the MDR but everyone was always very helpful and kind. It might have been a once in a lifetime trip for us and I do not regret it one bit.

Embarkation

This was easy and fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food in both the MDR and buffet was often served cold. There were long periods of time between courses. It was definitely not rushed. Dinner would take well over 2 hours.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was more than enough to do for every age group. Some of the kid friendly activities were very late in the evening. I guess there is no such thing as a bed time on a cruise

Entertainment

5 out of 5
It's Disney. I would expect nothing less than excellent.

Children's Programs

My child did not participate in the programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every person we encountered was wonderful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was always very clean and definitely maintained. The ship is a good size for our family

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was the perfect cabin for us. The deck was huge. The cabin is enough that we were not sitting on top of each other.

Ship tip

If you order room service, tip in cash. If you charge the tip to your room the whole team divides it up. If you tip your server in cash, that person receives it.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Disembarkation

This is also an area where Disney excels. It was organized and quick. Customs was a little slow but given that 3,400 people were coming through, that's to be expected.
