Review summary

Great cruise. After cruising a lot, Disney cruises are always the best. Very clean; although, not much social distancing if you/your family is weary of COVID.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Okay but a little too much waiting around to board. Also, we had two rooms booked--one for parents; other from college-aged kids--and had two different boarding times.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and drinks were excellent; waiters were excellent; the "Animator's Palate" dining room is wonderful for younger children, but my college-aged kids found it annoying. Other two dining rooms were more relaxing.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Adult-only areas (18+) were great--never crowded.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Beauty and the Beast was excellent

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Shoutout to Johnathan and Putu from dining and Gerald from housekeeping!!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, comfortable, wonderful cabin steward

Ship tip

Book excursions and special events (adult-only restaurants, tastings) early as they are filled by the time you set sail.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Pearl Island excursion was fun and easy to access. The ferry is right outside the Dream's door.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Always fun and relaxing, too. This was the first time we were able to have our family go to the adult-only beach.

Disembarkation

If you don't want to wait in line to leave the ship, skip breakfast. The lines did move, however, and didn't take more than 10-15 minutes.
