Review summary

Considering that it is Disney, this cruise didn’t meet our expectations. In my opinion there was not enough and properly trained staff. If you are going with young children make sure you take time to check for the activities before hand and plan accordingly especially if you want to take pictures with characters. There are not as many of them and they are only available at specific times so if you get to the line too late the staff will just tell you you cannot make the line and miss meeting with the character. If you want the picture package, make sure you keep on top of the photographers otherwise you will pay and not get too many pictures. My older children thought it was an okay cruise, but not the best.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Pretty fast but was hoping to be welcomed by characters and more magic.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining rooms were pretty good and servers were attentive. No buffets open after midnight, so you will need to do room service (no fee).

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Activities were more concentrated on young children.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
It was more staff than characters. It was an ok experience.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Clubs were nicely decorated but staff lacked to properly assist children.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Room steward and waiters were excellent but other staff lacked customer service. For instance, one family was trying to get a picture so I asked to take it for them and at the same time a staff goes right behind them to wipe the glass area where they were standing by. Coming off the ship, another staff was sitting on someone’s luggage. I thought that both experiences were rude and completely unprofessional.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Very spacious and very clean was great.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great!

Ship tip

Do an extensive research before booking.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
It was pretty good.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We did a tour through a third party but had an excellent time.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

4 out of 5
The island is beautiful and very well constructed. However, there was little assistance when coming in to the beach area. We would ask for assistance but most staff will tell us to ask someone else as if they did not know.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It went okay.

Traveler Photos

Boomer that on my “professional” pictures there was work being done in the background.
