Review summary

If this had been our only cruise we would have liked it more but Royal Caribbean has DCL beat by a landslide in every way possible. Our 3 year old hated the kids club (age range 3-TWELVE come on DCL!) so we got to do absolutely nothing.

Stupidest age range ever. My 3 year old felt isolated and hated it so we couldn’t use the service for more than about 45 minutes the first night and 15 minutes the second night.

That's a little hard to believe, I can pull my daughters out of the kids area if I tried, I know with Royal on Navigator the kids club was small and they named dodge ball 15 different names. Its hard to believe that Royal has Disney beat...?

Wait....what do you mean you got to do nothing? You went on DCL for a FAMILY vacation....so why would the concern be the kids club? We keep our kids with us the whole time and do not utilize dumping them at a day care during a family vacation.

I find that hard to believe. The age group may say 3-12 but we found they divide them up more once activities start. They don’t expect a 3 yr old to be doing the same things as a 12 yr old. We’ve cruised on both lines and there’s no way RCI beats DCL when it comes to entertaining kids.

Wow! That’s a first. Royal has Disney beat with a 3 year old.
