I was tentative booking a cruise at all, let alone Disney. My only regret is not being able to book this earlier for the kids. Other than a few hours of disembarking this truly was an amazing and memorable vacation. The staff were exceptional, from the time of check in until departure.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived to the port an hour and a half early not knowing what to expect. There was some confusion and business at the terminal, but there were enough super friendly staff to direct us to the right place. Lines were minimal and we were on board at the exact time that we pre-selected during on line check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining rooms were amazing. I don't really enjoy buffets that much, but there was anything you could want for selection.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The 2 main kid pools were pretty small and crowded, but the line for the aquaduck was really reasonable.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Amazing shows!! Don't miss them.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
We have 2 10 year old's that found the oceaners club great, but wanted to participate in the next age group up. We have 1 12 year old that used the edge club activities quite a bit and enjoyed dodgeball and a fantasy draft.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Wait staff was incredible (Emiel and Richard) and I loved that we had the same dinner staff each night. They got to know the kids and even did some magic tricks:) Room steward Osbert was amazing and managed to somehow make sense of our stateroom twice a day.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Super clean and well maintained. Ship was easy to navigate and kids had no trouble finding our room.
Cabin / Stateroom

Much larger than we expected. There was a bed for each of the 3 kids which was fantastic, as we expected 2 of them to have to share. It was really no different size wise than a smaller hotel room. It was impeccably clean. The balcony was money well spent. We booked a little later-the only thing I would change for next time is booking sooner so that we could be a bit closer to a stairwell.
Ship tip
Don't hesitate, just book it. This was our first cruise and first Disney trip. Our kids are 10, 10 and 12 and I was worried they were a bit too old. This couldn't be further from the truth-we had an amazing vacation.
A bit of a border town, but we went to the beach and NASA and had an amazing day at both. We were really happy we stayed in Port Canaveral versus Orlando so that we were nice and close to everything.
The only thing that really appealed to us was Atlantis and frankly I couldn't justify the cost. We had a great day on the ship and enjoyed the short aquaduct lines:)
We originally booked parasailing, but it unfortunately was cancelled due to the wind that day. We were disappointed but quickly found a back up. We rented snorkel equipment that 3 out of the 5 of us used. The other 2 of us wimped out as the water was cold and you had to swim out a fair distance to see anything other than sand and grass. The 3 that went were able to see 2 huge sea turtles and a bunch of fish-it was certainly a highlight for them. Stingrays were so cool and the staff made for a great experience. Don't miss getting off on this day and use the tram-it's a much faster way of getting around.
We hadn't been on a cruise before so we found it a bit rushed from the night before having to get our bags packed and out by 10:30 the night before. We weren't back and changed from our dinner by the time our bags left so we ended up having some heavy carry luggage the day we disembarked. Loved the later breakfast seating, but had some lines on the way getting off the ship and clearing security (and trying to get our rental vehicle shuttle). I'm not sure how this could be avoided, but it made for a fair amount of lines and waiting.
