Review summary

Overall we were disappointed with the Christmas cruise we were hoping for more Christmas activity’s and music. The service was awful compared to our first cruise. Customer service was a nightmare no one seemed to know anything you asked. It was awfulbit cancel our excursion on cast away cay due to docking late due to weather it took 4 tines to service desk to get our money back this took time out of other stuff we could have been doing.

Main dining rooms experience was horrible terrible service our servers didn’t seem to know what they were doing and took forever to get food and wrong food was brought.

Onboard Activities

The pools and activity’s we got to donwere fun. It was crowded to try and see some of the shows like the pirate night had to be moved inside it was crowded and then it seems like the fun activity’s for alll Agee’s was while we were docked in Nassau so we missed them.

The stage shows were amazing. The live music in the main deck was just ok we thought since we were on a Christmas cruise there would be more Christmas music.

Our stateroom staff was amazing they did an outstanding job. Our wait staff in the buffet was also very good. But our wait staff in main dining halls was awful.

Our cabin was amazing it was clean big and very comfortable.

Ship tip

We love the Disney dream our second time on the ship and love it. We did expect more Christmas activity’s and would have loved to have had better customer service while on board. The captains did an amazing job even tho we hit some bad weather they got us to both ports and did an outstanding job.

Sadly we didn’t get to do our excursions on this island due to the weather but the island was fun and pretty to see.

It was very easy and good. It went a lot faster then we thought and enjoyed the experience of getting off the ship.

Actually mzatf, after being on other cruise lines I can assure anyone contemplating taking one that Disney is by far the best! The “other” cruise lines are cheaper and when you get on you can see the difference. Disney Cruiseline IS THE BEST!!!

I have read a lot of reviews about disney cruise and they are just like any other cruises. They are not perfect as they claim to be. And I'm glade that we have this form to post things so people are aware.

I'm kinds finding that hard to believe when your stats don't even show you have cruised??? Also Disney is known for there customer service, we have done several Disney cruises in December and they are decked out for Christmas. Granted they don't have activities related to Christmas going from 8am to 10pm. I think if your not happy with Disney then you need to cruise carnival or just don't cruise. I mean with a 95% approval rating that's pretty darn awesome for Disney but I guess you can't make everyone happy

From your review, it doesn’t seem to me that the cruise was disappointing, maybe a little frustrating at some points. I have been on the Dream a few times, for me, the food in the dining rooms has never been that good. Our servers were always very good. I found customer service needed improvement as well.
