Review summary

I was disappointed in myself I didn't try more activities. I've never been on any cruise before and disney has certainly set the standard now. Looking forward to booking my next cruise. Not sure if I can look for another company now I know what disney have to offer. Overall the best thing I've ever done!! Thanks disney.

Embarkation

It's a very smooth process. Go through security bit then you check in to receive your key to the world card. will I'll say there is not a lot of room in the port. And it's a bit squished. But they had mickey and Minnie out to meet the crowds which made it more exciting. Then to be announced on the ship makes it a little more exciting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Could not fault the theming of the restaurants and cleanliness of them. The food I felt was a lot the same in all three restaurants and would liked a little more variety. Sort of average food. But yummy and deff filled you up. Buffet was great felt like there should of been a mini buffet all night long for those midnight munchies sometimes you just want cake at midnight!

Onboard Activities

So many activities. I wish I did some more of them.

Entertainment

Oh my those disney shows we saw in the evening it was like heading to the theatre on Broadway. Best thing I've ever seen believe and golden mickeys. Top notch.

Children's Programs

No kids in our party

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly. They all smile and say hi. Our waiters were fantastic they just bought over drinks without me asking by the end of it. Quick service throughout. Room steward very friendly only saw her once which was a shame. And everyone was super helpful if you had any questions. All over the ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I think the ship was laid out well enough to know by the end of the day you basic layout of the ship without having to consult a map. It was easy to pick up. All the public areas I saw were spotless. And everything was throughout the ship looked well maintained and new.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We picked up a larger cabin as was 3 adults in one room. I was a little nervous about the space. But I was pleasantly surprised bigger than what I was expecting. And it divided into two via curtain to give the person on the single bed the feel like they had their own space. Which is a good touch. While I would say the room was not spotless. It was clean and well maintained.

Ship tip

It's gets a little chilly in the evening. Take a jacket/sweater etc to keep u warm.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

I was bit unsure on this port as I had previously read a lot of bad reviews. Wasn't fussed on doing a excursion. So we just got off the ship to have a walk around and see what the local area by the port was like. Within about 5 minutes you had the locals jumping at you making you take their tour and generally hassling you. Once you mange to escape the very busy area by the port where everyone jumps on you. You hit the shops. We went in a few and got the odd souvenir. Can't really say much about Nassau as only saw the shops but I will say the locals are very pushy and want to sell everything to you. Apart from that nice to wonder around somewhere new.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
If I could spend all 3 days of our cruise here I would. It was like paradise. I did a bit of snorkeling. But couldn't really see much as a bit murky. And then we headed over to the adult courner. So quiet and peaceful. I just bobbed out to sea you just float in the water and I let the current take me. Your in a ringed area so you can't float out to far and there are lifeguards there too. Bbq for lunch if you stayed on the island. Perfect scrummy food. And ice-cream on tap! Heaven!!

Our waiters explained the process of how to exit the ship and how breakfast works the night before. But they also had a video on loop on the TV to explain as well it was a very simple process and nothing really complicated about it. Just eat your breakfast and off you go and be sad your leaving luxury.
