Review summary

My husband I booked this cruise as a surprise for our 9 year old son during spring break. Needless to say he had a wonderful time. We sailed on the Disney Dream. There was plenty for him to enjoy, large pool, Aqua Duck, Oceanaire Club and Lab, that had video games and plenty of other things to do. He wanted pizza, fries and ice cream which there was plenty of. However, for me and my husband the stringent eating times in an specific restaurant was a turn off. I'm a grown person on vacation I wanted to relax and eat when and where I want. Or have a buffet during dinner so I can  choice when and  what I want to eat. This is not available. Also they nickel and dime you for everything. For instance, on Disney's private beach Castaway Cay, they charge you $11 to rent an float. Like you could steal the float from the island as you board the ship. Really!!

There was other incidents, but lets just say I did not enjoy myself and will not be cruising with Disney. I gave the overall rating based on my son experience and enjoyment. This cruise line is definitely for children. Our joy came from seeing him elated and when he said "thank you mommy and daddy for this wonder surprise. I really had a great time".
