Review summary

The Disney cruise was great from start to finish.  Smooth onboarding, great food, good entertainment.  Spaces for kids and adults.  The only bad thing was that we had to depart.

This was the key to the ship. Kids loved it and never wanted to leave. It was a nice relief for adults.

Cabin / Stateroom

Beautiful ship with a nice cabin. It actually could sleep 5 comfortably. The murphy bed and dual bathrooms were both a nice touch. Did anyone mention how awesome the shower was? A rainfall showerhead that dumped volumes of water if you want. We had to get the kids out of the shower as they enjoyed it so much, too.

Ship tip

A couple tips we found that were helpful: 1) Bring magnets to decorate your door. The doors are made of steel and many veterans bring elaborate decorations to customize them. 2) We brought our own larger plastic cups to carry pop with us. Especially nice if you go to the movies.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Cortran's was the best tip we got on this trip. Great service and the cost was only $40 each way. Want to save money on the transport from the airport, then use them.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Kids under 5 can't rent snorkel equipment. The let us take a mask and snorkel, but no flippers. Bring your own if you have a kid under 5.

Nassau, Bahamas

The day is too short. Make sure you have transportation and an appropriate event that gets you to the ship by 2:30 pm. We didn't disembark until almost 9 and had to wait for a water taxi until 10. We didn't have time to eat or do much more than our excursion.

are all the restaurants on Disney Dream included in the package price? Also what are some extras that you have to pay for? Thank you
