Review summary

Although we only had a four night cruise, by the end of it we felt like we were leaving family. Every aspect of the cruise was positive and energetic. Our stateroom was spacious and slept 5. The food was incredible and we had two with allergies, they checked with us at each meal to make sure we had what we needed. The entertainment was the best and left even the adults feeling like kids again.  It was an expensive vacation, but now we know it was worth every penny!  We had two teens with us and they loved the teen club and meeting new friends.  We were all sad to leave!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Disney was very attentive to all of us, but especially the two who had allergies.

Onboard Activities

The teen program was wonderful. They were even able to make a movie by the end of the cruise with all the teens participating. Evening shows were incredible!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We saw every show and all of them were memorable, even the magic show. The sets, music, and all the actors were perfect.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The teen program was exceptional and the club area itself was spacious and offered a variety of things to do. They made pizza, cupcakes, smoothies and played games and even made a Zombie movie. Our teens loved it!

Service and Staff

Our waiter won over our kids right away with a different brain teaser each evening. He was very friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Have never been on a ship that was maintained so meticulously. It was kept clean everywhere we went. Even my husband, retired Navy, commented on what a good job they did keeping things clean and maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a cabin that slept 5. Had a queen bed, single fold out from the wall and two singles that came down like bunkbeds from the ceiling. My daughter commented that her single from the wall was firmer than she liked, but she was still able to sleep. We had two bathrooms, one with sink and toilet and the other with sink and shower. Worked well with 5 getting ready at the same time. Also had a thick privacy curtain between the queen and other three beds that worked well when some of us wanted to read while others slept.

Ship tip

Recommend bringing your own custome for priate night. What they offer in the shops is pricy. Only disappointment was photo pkg we purchased in advance (PhotoBook). Let's just say the computer method was not user friendly. Buying full pkg for a little more would have been better deal.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

You don't have to use Disney parking. We were able to find another lot for half the price and they offered a shuttle too and from the ship. Worked well!

Nassau, Bahamas

Would recommend an excursion instead of just walking through the town. Town was dirty and full of shops for tourists. Much better getting away from it all.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Only seating is on the beach. BBQ was the only disappointing meal during the entire cruise.
