Review summary

The 5 of us took the 4 day Dream cruise beginning Dec 5. Kathryn, one of my nieces (28) was able to book the Spa special for approx $25/night, she said it was well worth the price.  This was my 3rd cruise and everyone else's first time.  The little ones really enjoyed the Oceanears Club and Lab and each took one night and ate dinner there rather than with the old folks.  The staff, as always, were pleasant and appeared to actually like being there. I booked the princess meet and greet and Anna and Elsa meeting before we left home.  This year we participated in the Fish Extender program and the girls really enjoyed coming back to the room and finding little things waiting for them.  We spend two nights prior to the cruise at the Art of Animation Cars Family Suites in Disney world and arranged private transportation to the port. In Nassau we took the semi submersible reef tour which was so so but the little ones really enjoyed seeing all the fish and the guides were both informative and amusing.  Everyone loved Castaway Cay. The shows were, as usual, very well done and we got to see Moana in 3D as well.  We also had very good dinner companions, a family of three from Minnesota who's son Orion was the same age as our youngest princess Charlee.

Was well laid out for the 5 of us. Balcony, as usual, was small but usable for us, the split bathroom was well used although Kathryn never showered there as she used the showers in the spa. After the second night the room steward put princess sheets and pillow cases on the girls beds.

Ship tip

Register for as many things that you want to as possible before you leave home. I would suggest registering the kids for the onboard kids groups, any meet and greet that you want for them and any excursions that you may want to take.
