Review summary

The cruise offered many activities and freedom for the kids.  However, the adult venues were somewhat lacking compared to other cruises.  We chose this cruise for my niece (11 years old) to enjoy so it served it purpose.

The food was OUTSTANDING!  The service was OUTSTANDING!  The private island (Castaway Cay) was very enjoyable.

Ship experiences

Best food I have had on any cruise.

3 out of 5
Not enough for adults.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The entertainment was geared toward children.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My niece enjoyed the activities and the freedom she had while on board.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member was friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship and impeccably clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabins were very large by cruise ship standards and had two separate washrooms - one with a sink and a toilet, one with a sink and a shower. It made getting ready for dinner so much easier.

Ship tip

Eat breakfast in the dining room. The service is wonderful and the meals are delicious and made to order.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
The covered parking was $20 per day and was a short walk to the ship. Very convenient.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nassau has come a long way in the past 20 years. The town was clean and the people were friendly.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
I wish we could have stayed for 2 days. There was so much to do!
