Review summary

Me on my cruise with a view of the Nassau port behind me.

Since this was my first cruise ever, I chose the Disney Dream.  I was not disappointed.

The ship although very large was very clean and well-maintained.

The staff very attentative and no detail too small.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR were able to accomodate my dietary restrictions

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of choices-sometimes too many

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Always something to do, no reason for anyone to get bored.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Not really sure I had no children traveling with me, but from what I saw it looked like fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff constantly exceeded my expectations.

Ship Quality

Lovely interior and very well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom location a little far, but very good sized room

Ship tip

Early morning 5am-6:30 am is the best time to explore the ship. It so quiet and the elevators are hardly in use. If having breakfast at Cabanas, 7am-8am is best as they are no lines and seating is plentiful ( no waiting for a table).

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Easy to enter and exit via DCL transportation

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Excursion at Atlantis nice , but port reminds me of a flea market

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

3 out of 5
Island a little too rustic for my taste( no boardwalks)
