Review summary

The ship is beautiful. Most everyone is wonderful to deal with. For me it felt overcrowded. I was very disappointed in the food, drinks etc. I was also disappointed with how getting on and off of the ship works. I was also disappointed with how long you had to wait for an elevator. While we were able to take the stairs my mother who needs extra help had to wait forever to get anywhere. When you pay an amount of money you expect a certain level of service.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Long lines waiting in the heat.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food on the ship was absolutely terrible ever single place we went except for Crown. With the money people are paying they are expecting excellent food. Also just for me, I am someone who drinks Chai and the chai make on board is not Chai tea at all as adverstised. It is Chai flavored syrup mixes with milk. That is so unacceptable. People ordering think they are drinking tea and they may as well be drinking sugar/syrup. This could be a problem for people who are diabetic etc.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pools were nice and clean.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Princess live was fun but I felt like the staff that is entertaining get very carried away with their antics and playing around with each other instead of focusing on the show we all showed up for.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
I wish I could rate this separately because my steward was absolutely amazing and so was most all other staff. The only issue is anyone working at a bar. They take forever to get drinks made or to even acknowledge your existence. Also not friendly at all.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship was absolutely spotless every single day. Very well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our cabin. It was perfect, comfortable, and spotless every single day.

Ship tip

I would tell them if you just love being on the water and the sound of the ocean to go. But don't expect good food. Be ready for long lines, wait times, and elevators that take forever. Better off being healthy enough to take the stairs.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

3 out of 5
Only here for barding and it felt like controlled chaos.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

1 out of 5
This was not for me. I did not like being bombarded by the locals the entire time. It honestly did not feel safe.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

3 out of 5
The only issue is getting on and off the ship. It's long lines of controlled chaos.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The disembarkation was wonderful and quick. The only thing I don't like is having our bags taken the night before. Unless you are willing to carry around your clothes, makeup, hair stuff etc. then you are stuck with what you look like when you wake up in the morning. And as that might work some people it does not work for all people.
