Diamond Princess

7 Night Gulf Of Alaska Northbound (Vancouver To Whittier)

Sail date: June 09, 2007

Ship: Diamond Princess

Cabin type: Inside

Review summary

The ship was nice, but nothing extravagant. We were disappointed in the lay out of the show room. Looked like a college lecture hall. The first production show was not very appealing, but the second production show was much better. The ships crew were very cordial and our cabin attendant was great. We did not like to have to pay at the ice cream bar and were disappointed that the food venues around the pool only stayed open till 6 pm. We were disappointed that you had to walk through the Club Fusion to get to the Wake View Bar, especially since that was where they were having the GLBT gatherings. It was inconvenient to have to go up a set of stairs to complete a walk around the Promenade Deck. Overall we did enjoy our cruise and would do it again.

Enjoyed our tour on the horse drawn trolley. You can see a lot by just walking around
