Review summary

After complaining several times at reception that the cabin assigned did not comply with the characteristics contracted as being 3 adults neither the space nor the type of beds was correct, apart from not corresponding to the photos which are provided by themselves, and in the event that I had seen that picture of cabin logically I would not have hired it. The response from reception was that the photos are sometimes a guide, that we should not rely on them, one of the answers was that they (the staff) sleeps like that.... We even asked for a complaint form, and nobody gave us anything Finally, one of us had to sleep on the floor with the mattress because at my age and weight I think that sleeping hanging on a wall is not very safe or comfortable. The rest of the cruise was good, the food very good, the rest of the service (apart from the reception staff) is lovely, and the facilities are fine. Another thing is the internet, such a rip-off as it is not stable at all and works very slowly, they are charging 100 euros for internet when is not reliable at all. I would advise if you need internet to wait until you are stopped in the destinations. For sure I will do another cruise, but I will think twice to do it with costa if this is the service, I am going to receive next time.

The cabin we were assigned did not correspond at all with the description and photos by which we were guided when choosing it. Our reservation was for an inside cabin for 3 adults and the one we have been assigned does not meet those needs. It has a double bed and a single bed hanging on the wall, which is not suitable for our weight, so we were forced to put the mattress on the floor. I would also like to point out that the space for the mattress is the only space in the corridor that leads to the bathroom, so we had to walk over it. We feel cheated and nobody gives us a solution. We had 7 days on that situation and even the room service was not able to clean the room since the 3rd mattress had to be on top of the double bed during the day.

Ship tip

dont buy internet from the boat, such a rip-off as it is not stable at all and works very slowly, they are charging 100 euros for internet when is not reliable at all. I would advise if you need internet to wait until you are stopped in the destinations. Also Costa Toscana has an internal chat that you can use to communicate with the rest of the guest from the boat
