Would 150% not recommend or go on another costa cruise. This was a new ship and was supposed to be to great destinations that were a total let down if you booked excursions with the cruise line. Entertainment, food, and excursions were less than mediocre at best. Sad this was a dark cloud following us on our anniversary cruise. Should have went with another cruise line.

Main dining room food was mediocre at best. Buffets were a little better but not much variety. Only good food was what you pay separate for at the restaurants.

The best thing on the ship was the playroom where we took our little girl if that tells you how good everything was.

Probably the worst entertainment I've seen on a cruise ship and nothing that's appealing. Best entertainment was bingo, and I don't even like bingo.

We brought our daughter tp the onboard play area and staff and playroom were great. This was the most fun part of our cruise just because our daughter was happy there and there was nothing else appealing to do onboard.
Service and Staff

Waiters were friendly and attentive, but they were constantly messing up our orders. Service in the Japanese restaurant was not good.
Ship Quality

Cleanliness was good, but ship layout was okay. The Colosseo was very oddly made and didn't provide for good viewing in many areas.

Was dissapointed in the dirtiness of some areas that our excursion took us, but it was cool to see the popular areas. Was HIGHLY disappointed in the excursion that we booked with the ship. Almost everything we saw from a bus and couldn't hop off to view things. WE passed the colosseum in the bus and were not able to get a good view or even a picture because we passed on only one side of the bus and not the other. Wish this excursion was better.
Left our excursion because it was terrible and did our own thing. We went to Pisa on our own and enjoyed it. Half of our excursion group parted ways with the group within an hour of it starting because it was that bad.
