Review summary

The itinerary was very good; the food was okay. We expected more good Italian food from an Italian line. Pasta dishes were good; pizza was not. We ate mostly in the dining room and had excellent service. Staff couldn't do enough for us and most spoke English. The staff Customer Service desk were difficult to communicate with so we had to wait for an English-speaking host who only had certain hours. Shows were excellent; no hassling about drinks but service abounded. Extremely clean ship; staff claned constantly. Very accommodating. We had a verandah suite and it was very roomy. Shopping was okay on board, but same old merchandise was displayed except in different areas. Transportation to ports was fine; tenders ran frequently. We probably would not cruise again on this line as we are very American and the many langauges spoken were somewhat annoying. But that's the price to pay for a foreign cruise line. Interior designs were overly grandeur and over-the-top Italian!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Entertainment

entertainment was good; excursions were fine. Difficult to find room that special events were being held in. Not enough staff to direct you to the right activity.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
very friendly; couldn't do enough for you; water glass never empty. I did have to ask for wine the first night; maybe I missed the bartender. They don't push the alcoholic beverages at all. Very entertaining staff; enjoyed all the extra shows from the staff.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was clean but needs updating; shower was very large but room needs new color scheme including bedspead and bathroom vanity and lamps.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Mexcian cuisine excursion was excellent as was the Beach Playa Mia; all inclusive and excellent facilities. Shopping excellent. Good talk on board ship to pick and choose the best places to shop.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Beaches were fine; town very poor and shopping poor. Port located in poor end of town and if you didn't take a taxi you didn't see anything.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We love th Cayman Islands but this day had 4 (maybe 5) ships in port and it was extemely crowded. Tender service was good.

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5

Pros: extremely clean ship; good attention by staff

Cons: the multitude of langauges; very foreign/international cuirse line
