Review summary

The ship was beautiful and the staff extremely polite and gracious. We certainly received the royal treatment! Nightly shows were very enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the music throughout the lounges on the ship because the flavor of music was not only English but many other languages too. The food was fabulous in the dining room as well as at the buffet where we ate our lunches.

We toured off the beaten path and saw the countryside and the sugarcane plantations and enjoyed the factory where they did hand-made cigars

Catalina Island (Isla Catalina), Dominican Republic

too crowded for our taste- too many people packed into so small a beach area

Pros: I loved the music in the lounges which was in Spanish, Italian French and English

Cons: many of the European guests onboard did not speak any English- this limited our interaction with others
