Nice Ship but Poor Cruise

Sail Date: March 23, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

Ship gets top marks for ship quality, dining and food, and staff.

Due to problem with air conditioning, stateroom not acceptable; entertainment and activities were not sufficient for a cruise that spends half of day time hours at sea.

Pros: cleanliness and decor

Cons: stateroom, on board activities, announcements in 5 languages

Recommends Costa Fortuna? Yes!

Catalina Island (Isla Catalina), Dominican Republic
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Interesting historical sights from the beginning of Europeans in the Americas
Don't Miss: Synagogue is well worth the visit
San Juan, Puerto Rico
itinerary allowed only 5 evening hours to visit this port.
Nassau, Bahamas
Again only in port for 5 hours. Not sufficient for a port as significant historically as Nassau.
