Review summary
I just returned with a friend of mine after sailing the Western Carribean on the Costa Fortuna. The ship was very beautiful. The food was average. They did not have a huge selection or variety. The buffet was always the same and it seemed like many of the nights in our restaurant we were given the same choices. The staff also seemed to be less accomidating than staff has been on other ships that I have attended. At times, many of the staff were even rude to me. There were a few good shows - The circus show was my favorite. Toga night was very fun, although not as many people as I hoped participated. The "no sheet no eat" saying did not hold true. My favorite part was probably the pictures that were taken on formal nights - many of them came out beautifully. All in all, it was a very nice ship and I got to see beautiful places. Having been on many cruises before, I would probably not chose sailing with Costa again, but would recommend it to a friend who is looking for an Italian sailing experience.Ports of call
