Enjoyable cruise

Sail Date: August 28, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff handled the multitude of languages well; English was definitely the minority language but it wasn't a barrier to our enjoyment. We were concerned about smoking, but it wasn't an issue. I would definitely consider a cruise with Costa again.

Pros: The staff on the ship was first rate.

Cons: The cruise staff did nothing about the (cultural) inability of some groups of passengers to wait their turn in queues.

Recommends Costa Concordia (RETIRED)? Yes!

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands
Mallorca is clean and charming with nice shopping.
Naples, Italy
Savona (Genoa), Italy
Savonna is a nice town; we were there on Sunday so little was open, but we did a lot of sightseeing on foot.
Marseille (Provence), France

Don't Miss: We enjoyed the wandering in the North African markets, which we found by accident.
Tunis, Tunisia
I would recommend a tour here, as the port is some distance from the town
Don't Miss: Medina and the markets
Palermo, Sicily
