The food, except the main dining room, are all forward on the ship so the walk can be long. If you can get a Rob at midship or forward it makes the walk shorter

Seating in the Buffet was always a problem during normal meals times. Breakfast and lunch in the Dining Room was a much more relaxing experience. Pizza for lunch at Sabatini's (complementary) was outstanding.

For a cruise which is limited in ship's size (Alaska, Panama canal, Norway, others), it's the best suitable ship

This ship needs an overhaul. The Princess website stated the ship had been refurbished in 2016; this must have been select portions of the ship (which didn't include many of the areas we frequented).

This is a ship to relax on as not that much to do on sea days. But then that is something that can be a good thing if you want to just lay back.

I wouldn't buy a coffee card again. The rules have changed and the card has gone digital, so you cannot finish it on another cruise. I bought one for each of us and I don't think either of us used the total 15 coffee or tea purchases. But do try the pastries in the International Cafe. I think people think they have to purchase them so they don't stop by, but they have pastries that are fresher and nicer than the Horizon Court.

Make sure all your questions are answered BEFORE you board as you won't get any help once on board. If you have a later flight on day of disembarking, figure out what to do with your luggage ahead of time so you don't have to keep it with you all day since you cannot check it more than 3 hours before flight.
