A most interesting itinerary. Very relaxing cruise with amazing scenery in the sail by trips. Saw minimal wildlife.

Very minimal wait from the time we arrived at the terminal until we were checked into our cabin.

Ship experiences

The food in all the venues was nicely presented and very tasty.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Walks, pool

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Princess entertainers and orchestra were fabulous. Individual singers and comedians put on great shows.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful service from a great staff and crew.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship’s layout makes it very easy to get around. If unsure there are plenty of maps and guides posted on the walls. We were also given a small pocket map when we registered. All areas were clean and workers were continually wiping things down.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of room, comfortable, new larger TV and our room steward kept us very clean and today.

Ship tip

No need to overpack - laundry facilities on several floors. If doing the South American cruise, for the best viewing opportunities have a balcony. Be prepared for a wide variety of weather - warm, cool, cold, wet and windy and some rough seas. Go prepared with any meds you may need for this and activities for your own personal interests on the sea days. Easier to have a small amount of local cash as not all items can be charged to a credit card in some stores.

Ports of call

San Antonio, Chile

Didn’t see anything of it. We were on the Princess transfer bus from Santiago which took us directly to a shuttle bus to the ship.

Puerto Montt, Chile

5 out of 5
Tender. Just walked through town and along the waterfront.

Cruise Amalia Glacier

Punta Arenas, Chile

Tender. Walked through town, looked at their famous cemetery and walked back to dock.

Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina

5 out of 5
Lovely waterfront for a nice walk. Took the tour to the end of the world.’ Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the scenery.

Cruise Cape Horn

5 out of 5
Great view from our balcony even in the rain and wind.

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands Did not visit port

Not able to get in by tender due to weather

Puerto Madryn, Argentina

5 out of 5
Was a 2.5 hour drive to the penguin reserve but was well worth it. Was by far my favourite tour of the trip. Only wish we could have spent a bit more time there and not felt so rushed.

Montevideo, Uruguay

4 out of 5
No excursion. Walked to Independent Plaza and along waterfront. Wandered through the market place.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

5 out of 5
No excursion. Walked, walked and walked! Underground very cheap and easy to use. The Botanical Gardens with many native animals and Rose Gardens are well worth a visit and are free. Lots of walking after leaving the Subte close by.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and relaxing
