Review summary

This 19 days LA to LA Panama Canal Cruise was the most hassle free cruising we’ve ever had because no airline, airport nor TSA were involved. The number of Sea days between port stops were just right offering a relaxing cruise. The only disappointment was that the production shows entertainment involving the Princess Dancers and Orchestra were only presented three times and the rest were with comedians, soloist, etc. which were repeated several times throughout the cruise.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Anytime dining was perfect for us and if available, we get to select the table and waiters we had enjoyed previously.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lectures with Astromer, Shelley Bonus from Mt. Wilson observatory was informative and fun. We even had a live feed of NASA’s Mars Insight landing.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Production shows with the Princess Dancers and orchestra was disappointedly limited to only three shows of the 19 days cruise. The rest were the shows were with comedians, entertainers, etc. which were repeated several times.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cruise staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall the ship was in great shape. The only concern was that the Princess Theatre had only two aisles to get in and out which took a long time vacate after the show was over. This may also pose a safety hazard/constrained during an emergency.

Cabin / Stateroom
