Review summary
The CORAL PRINCESS has sewer problems, which we understand from other passengers this has been a problem before and apparently has not been corrected. The forward elevator areas on all decks is where the smell are most prominent, but are also noticeable in other areas. The public restrooms seem to always in need of cleaning. Our mini-suite was not up to our expectations in that the beds were not set up to our pre-cruise request prepared on-line. The balcony deck was covered with paint chips and the furniture was dirty. Bathroom did not have any hand lotions or other items normally found in hotels. Towels were sometime not returned after cleaning, ie: no wash cloths or only one large towel. Did not have a mini-bar. So, I am not sure what I got for the price of my mini-suite other that having more square footage, which is why we get them. This is the second cruise in succession that a PRINCESS ship has had engine room problems which has caused us to miss port calls. This time the at sea repairs caused us to miss the port of Cartagena and we sailed directly to the Panama Canal to meet our schedule there. The food onboard was very good and service in the dinning room was also good. Entertainment/Shows were very good.
