Review summary

I had to to see the front desk EVERY day to correct billing issues - onboard credit was not appropriately posted, charged for included wifi, charged for prepaid specialty dining. I spent way too much time having to correct mistakes that should have never been an issue. I probably spent at least six hours correcting issues during the cruise without any recognition of how intrusive this was on my vacation. Much work is needed to get accounts straight without passenger intervention. ool beverage service was basically non existent . One pool server trying to cover two floors on the pool deck. Needed six to eight staff to cover the passenger needs. This was a big miss. No real value added for the additional "concierge" service. Buffet needs work. The layout is cumbersome and redundant and lacking.

Embarkation

excellent port staff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main restaruant was excellent. Our waiters, Marcus and Yoga were amazing as was the assistant manager Serkan. Buffet needs work. The layout is cumbersome and redundant and lacking. For example, they offered taco meat, chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, etc but there were NO tortillas to make it a cohesive meal. Simple example, but occurred often. Long waits for the egg stations. Little variation on the "specials." Bar service was excellent. Pool beverage service was basically non existent . One pool server trying to cover two floors on the pool deck. Needed six to eight staff to cover the passenger needs. This was a big miss.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Most of the shows were excellent. Great inhouse dance and music crew. Excellent Saxophone player. The comedian was awful, not worth the time, and did not relate to the audience at all.

Service and Staff

Room steward was perfect. However, I had to to see the front desk EVERY day to correct billing issues - onboard credit was not appropriately posted, charged for included wifi, charged for prepaid specialty dining. I spent way too much time having to correct mistakes that should have never been an issue. I probably spent at least six hours correcting issues during the cruise without any recognition of how intrusive this was on my vacation. Much work is needed to get accounts straight without passenger intervention.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Clean but the Aft shades in the dining room were broken and the exterior windows filthy.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Small rooms but adequate. No real value added for the additional "concierge" service. There is no concierge lounge and even when I went to the concierge desk on three occassions, they just sent me to another person ie meal reservations, internet issues, incorrect billing etc.

Ship tip

Don't pay for the concierge class. Skip the comedy show. Watch your account closely.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

4 out of 5
convenient but expensive parking. Great port staff.

Cruise Statue Of Liberty

4 out of 5

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

4 out of 5
No scuba offering from onboard experiences.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
"Lost" luggage was difficult to find as a tag was torn off during offloading. Luggage needs more care.
