Review summary

This Cruise met our expectations. Based on everything that we had read from other reviews it was exactly what we thought it would be. We would definitely do this again

Embarkation

Our check-in time was 11:30am. We arrived a little early, the was no line and we were on board in 15 minutes or less

Food and Dining

All the food was great. We loved the selection in the buffet-Oceanview Cafe. We only ate in the MDR twice, once for our embarkation lunch and once for dinner. Both times were enjoyable. Although the dining staff was very attentive my wife felt it a little excessive and also didn't like the sales push for the specialty dining. Tuscan Grille experience was excellent also with just the right amount of attention. I didn't care for my dinner so the maitre d invited back. We attended the "Lawn Club" burger event, probably the best burger I've had in my life. The last day in Oceanview was over the top with caviar, charcuterie station, beef carpaccio, fantastic displays. We chose to eat in Oceanview the last day although it was lobster night and they brought us a lobster dinner upstairs. Although the desserts looked amazing the cakes tasted off, sort of bland, like they were missing an ingredient or 2. Room service was excellent as well. The selection was fantastic. Our order always arrived when requested and great quality.

Visit one was ok. We probably ordered poorly. The Pasta Carbonara tasted like Alfredo with ham and peas, my Chicken Brick was dry. Second visit we had lunch, best burger ever

Nice selection of slot machines but the were very tight and we ended the trip in the negative although we saw several winners. We didn't play any table games

Get here early to get a good spot. Same problem as with any resort with people grabbing spots early and using extra loungers for the belongings

Ship tip

Don't over pack. If you're like us you'll spend most of the day in swim attire, even running around the ship. Then change for dinner/evening activity. Dress up for last night, no one told us but a lot of passengers dressed up
