Absolutely perfect (so that it very likely ruined any future cruise by comparison); Go, now.

Review summary

I cannot recommend this ship and this cruiseline at this point enough. Run and book while this unfortunate situation (for them), wonderfull conditions (for you) are still going on. We were

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
High quality food (and plenty of it), wide variety, cooked well and presented beautifully with a great attentive service. Bars and Café Al Bacio provided wonderful alcoholic and cofee-based drinks

Cosmopolitan Restaurant

5 out of 5

Our main dining room, 80% of our meals and a 100% of the best meals (breakfast lunch and especially dinners) of the top 5 I ever had on a cruise ship.Waiting staff (King and Luana in our case) and management made us feel like pampered family with excellent service and honest reviews (Oliver).I think 2-3 of the 10+ meals we had there would have - by themselves - cost us like the whole cruise in a less-fancy restaurant - and this by all means is an upscale establishment.

Oceanview Café

5 out of 5

we only ate 3-4 meals at the buffet, but those were by far the best cruiseline buffet meals I've had; the breakfast variety, the authentic (minus the required hottness) Indian food, the fresh fruit and baked goodies and more. The location was also nice with full-view windows seat always available and highly attentive service.

Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

5 out of 5

Amazing gelatos, exquisite sweets and perfectly brewed cofees, often with soothing live music in the background.A great place to start the day and chilax in the evening.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Traditional and therapeutic pools and jacuzzis, state of the art fitness center, trivia queezes and various group games; outdoor cinema lounge and a nice basketball/soccer court

Solarium

5 out of 5

Our absolute delight from hours of rejuvenating in the bubbling salt water and relaxing in the hot jacuzzis at this beautiful (yet water-noisy) glass-enclosed space may be misleading, cause on a "normal" cruise this would have been a busy space in high demand.Even with some real-life time limits I believe we would have tried to spend as much time as possible enjoying it.

Guest Relations And Excursions

5 out of 5

We didn't take a cruiseline excursion (our mistake, we should have taken the catamaran to the famous Cozumel reefs), but guest relations have been very accommodating and helpful throuhgout our stay.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great Live Music throughout the ship, Tastefully done and well performed Dance and Singing shows, Hilarious Standup Comdey, a lot of fun at the Silent Disco

The Theater

5 out of 5

Great shows every night, even the stuff I don't usually cherish, led by the hilarious and legendary druise director Sue, in a magnificant theater, with comfortable seating and great seats always available, even last minute, on our low-capacity cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Simply perfect service throughout the ship, from the cabin attendant to the occasional waiter; "steady" team at the main dining room was great and Oliver was hilarious.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and constantly being cleaned; very easy to navigate and not too big for the constant marches.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great bed (compared to other cruiselines); shower a bit on the small side, but overall very comfortable, especially with the great balcony.

Ship tip

Get on these Celebrity cruises, especially the Summit, NOW, while occupancy is still very low; this was the best cruise I've ever been on with under 20% occupancy, will probbaly never experience this level of availability and pampering, but celebrity always has great food and professional staff.

Appreciate your feedback. Yes, it is easy to be spoiled by the lower numbers of passengers. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
