Review summary

The ship needs a lot of work. The bathroom shower is outdated, moldy, and bathroom smells bad. The toilet seats on this ship are only an inch wide compared to normal standard seat widths on 2-2 1/2 inches. Very strance. The seats are all the same even in the public bathrooms. Oceanview Buffet layout poor, seats worn out, and food never hot on Buffet. I would even get there when they opened the breakfast buffet at 7am and pancakes, french toast would never be hot. Usually the same lunch and dinner selections on the Buffet every day with just a couple new items. I cruised the Reflection on January and March this year and Reflection was five star compared Summit. The entertainment on the Summit was great and as good as the Reflection. Patrick, the cruise director was good, and the therapy salt water pool was a plus on this ship. There were a couple hundred in line at disembarkment to leave the ship in Bayonne on Mothers Day with just three custom workers checking passports. They had 14 stations but only 3 open with employees there. Spent 30-40 minutes in cattle shoot line trying to get off the ship

Celebrity can't control Customs. We were in the same line as you and wondered too about Customs staffing. Summit is getting a $40M makeover in Feb 2019. Still our favorite ship.

We always use a porter for disembarkement. It’s well worth a tip to go through their line
