Review summary

Celebrity never fails to offer exceptional service, accommodations and cuisine. But they give you so much more. They make you feel welcome, kind of like visiting family.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No real problem with check in a bit of a wait through security but to be expected.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was exceptional. The aqua class room afforded us the opportunity to dine at Blu for dinner every night. Impeccable service and excellent cuisine. Had the premium drink package which was great. I just wish some of the indoor bars were open a bit earlier.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fantastic onboard activities. Plenty to do during every day of the cruise, even on port days. Found the bingo to be over-priced, but there was more than enough fun stuff to do otherwise. Water painting class was great! And tons of trivia contests!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The game shows were fun to watch. Also enjoyed the small music groups and soloists. I don't do theater, so I can't really rate the shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew was amazing. Always happy, always there to help. They made the cruise for me.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is older so there are some issues. For example, the top decks were always flooded because it rained often during the cruise, and there was no drainage like on newer ships. However, the crew worked very hard to sweep away all the water. That being said, it was very elegant and very clean. I really liked the layout, and the ease of being on a smaller ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Fantastic room. Spacious cabin and bathroom. Big shower area. Very comfortable bed. Nice amount of storage space. Nice size verandah. Because of the rain/lack of drainage, the verandah was always flooded though. We worked around it.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
As it is only 20 minutes from my house, this is my favorite departure port. Great views of NY Harbor when leaving and arriving.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Bermuda is one of my favorite ports. Very easy to get around. There is a feee shuttle to get from the shop to the ferries, bus stop and shopping area.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy because they are well organized.

we love Celebrity too and it's the crew that really sets the line apart from its competitors. they all seem very happy to work for celebrity and proud of their home countries. I love to chat to chat with them and hear their stories. one story I have is of a bar tender that remembered us. he even remembered the ship (the Connie) as we were on the Infinity at the time, and knew the time of year and year. very impressive.
