Review summary

Our cruise on board the Summit was an excellent way to see Bermuda for the first time.  The two sea days get you relaxed and ready to explore the sights and historic locations all around Bermuda.  The ship was elegant and offered a great family experience along with adult entertainment and food that is on the top of the cruise lines we have traveled with.

The veranda size was amazing. The room size was average, but storage was very good. Bed was a little low for large suitcases to fit underneath.

Ship tip

There are a lot of interesting little spots all over this class of ship. The design was very interesting compared to other ships we have sailed on. The photo staff was good and the photos, backgrounds and pictures were an upgrade from other lines.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Parking in the garage was easy and made our arrive simple and stress free. The new facilities are nice, but Customs and Border security need to put more agents on to do the security check in and departure. 3 scan lanes being open out of at least 12 was un acceptable. And 5 customs agent to process declaration forms for 2,000 plus guests is ridiculous.
