Review summary

Staff was very nasty they really did not want to hear the complaints other passengers said they were witnessing the same responses and it was because the staff "missed their families" cruise was not cheap did not feel it was worth the money

We just got off on Sunday Sept.4th and cruise was great. Caption Alex was one of the best. Kept us safe from Hermine,etc. MDR service was one of the best we had out of 34 cruises.

I cruised with Celebrity in 2014 and was the most wonderful vacations on cruise. I'm cruised on Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival... But my favorite was Celebrity. The staff... The food... The staff on child care awesome!

We did Summit in April. It was fantastic. Not at all dirty or old. Recently redone all thru. Beautiful. Food better than ever. We've done 40 cruises and 32 are with Celebrity, love them. Stay away from Carnival, very dirty, old and rude staff, so is Holland America. Hated Disney! And for Bermuda, it was better 10 years ago. Today it's expensive and natives are nasty and money hungry.Hate Americans

Bermuda by the way is breathtaking. Beautiful island, friendly people. We will come back but will stay in our timeshare instead of cruising. 2.5 days in port is not enough time to squeeze in all the history this island has to offer.

Not expecting anything like some sort of compensation but just want to let them know how disappointed we were with the ship and service. Customer feedback, good or bad is always helpful.

That should read the staff was rude. Ship dirty and shows its age. Dirty meaning they don't have the same amount of staff to clean up when u set something down. There is never a waiter around when you want a drink, you have to go to the bar and get it yourself. I'll be sending a letter to Celebrity.

I cruised with Celebrity in 1997 and it was fantastic. I just cruised the Summit to Bermuda and let me say I'm very disappointed! I'm planning another cruise dor 2018 with 26 other family members and we will not be booking with Celebrity. Some of the is down right rude, others don't acknowledge you when you ask questions, they don't keep the ship spotless, the food in the MDR is just okay.

Could the trouble you had with the Celebrity cruise line have something to do with the demographics involved? My son was on a Celebrity cruise when he was younger and found that him and his wife we tagged babies as the whole cruise was made up of grandparents. However he did say that the staff was wonderful to them. So I'm guessing, to each his own. Sorry the cruise did not work out well. But how was Bermuda. You have said nothing about this .

Can't believe you were on Summit. We've done numerous cruises on it and love it. Food was excellent and service was top notch. If you think their service was bad then stay away from Carnival, Holland America and Norweigan. They suck, royally!
