Review summary
When we boarded the ship we found that we had been upgraded to Aqua Spa Class. Our room was a bit tricky to find, but once we did we were very pleased. Located well, with lots of storage and a miniscule veranda. Our upgrade allowed us to dine in the BLU restaurant, which was limited to Aqua Spa Class passengers. Although the service was a bit uneven, we enjoyed the fact that the restauant was small and quiet. We could not bring ourselves to go to the noisey main diningroom. The food was not outstanding, but was good. The disappointing part of the Summit was the fact that service was not always up to par. Little things were overlooked. Our cabin although clean was dusty in places, and had glass rings in a few places. The public rooms were immaculate, and the staff overall was friendly and helpful. We have been on over 20 cruises, and have cruised for years and years. It is often hard not to compare however, we expected a lot more attention to detail from Celebrity. PS the shows were sometimes a bit hokey at best. I think that is par for the course on cruise ships nowadays.
