Sorry we had to get off the ship!

Sail Date: August 07, 2011

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

the staff was great; food wonderful, our wait staff on the Celebrity Summit was superb!

Pros: The food.

Cons: The art work; older look of the ship.

Recommends Celebrity Summit? No.

Ship Quality
the size was great not too large (about 2,000 passengers) the layout a bit cramped by the pool, but you somewhat expect that, but still it would have been nice to actually swim a bit, in lieu of just getting into pool to get wet - then get out because it was so crowded. all public areas were well maintained and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was comforable, albeit showing signs of wear; pillows could be plumper, or add more to the bed. 2 thin pillows. Decor outdated with pattern and colors.
Food and Dining
our dinner selections were always great; steaks cooked to order; only caveat morning breakfast chef needed more training with making eggs benedict.
Service and Staff
Every staff member we encountered was helpful, polite, professional.
King's Wharf, Bermuda
Not much to see in this port; but the ferry and bus service right off the ship made it convenient.
