Review summary

This was a really relaxing cruise with a great vibe. Kudos to the captain for being informative, entertaining and visible - clearly set the standard. Wasn’t sure how the young Belgian CD would go with a majority of Australian guests but his infectious enthusiasm won the crowd. Patrick the activities host was great. Food and drinks was good quality and service was superb. Dislike the ongoing up selling. Loved it.

Embarkation

Generally quick and friendly staff but our specific person didn’t know her job and took an eternity until management noticed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Mdr was superb. also enjoyed the spa cafe. Didn’t bother with specialty restaurants as too expensive and poor experiences on other Celebrity ships

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Good acknowledgement of crossing date line and equator. Parties at night. Loads of trivia’s etc. Celebrity has clearly copied a lot of NCL activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Production shows were very good. Polynesian show was amazing. Guest performers were average. Loads of lectures and matinee shows were good. Appreciate the use of a live orchestra. CD did a great job.
