Review summary

Your rep placed us under the busiest part of the buffet. 24/7 of rolling cars, vibrations from those carts and heavy footsteps. We literally did not sleep for 7 nights!  You are supposed to be cruise experts - you should be aware of customer complaints regarding rooms and know which rooms are better on the ship. We trusted your "experts"! We learned while on the ship that our room has constant complaints regarding the noise!  We booked this 11 months in advance so there were plenty of choices!  This was an expensive trip - the cruise costs us over $6200 and for that we had no sleep. We are extremely disappointed with your company and intend to make sure that others do not have their vacations ruined by your "cruise experts"!  Completely unacceptable !

Noisy, noisy and noisy - unbearable noise. Suite 2131 is located directly under the noisiest part of the buffet. It is impossible to sleep. We had to use earplugs and pillows over our heads, but it did not block out the noise from above or the vibrations from the carts. We found out the Solstice has had numerous complaints, yet your company recommended this room 11 months in advance! We trusted your services and you failed us miserably. You should never place anyone in this room - we are still recovering from the lack of sleep. It took a toll on both of us and ruined our much anticipated (and expensive) vacation.

Ship tip

I always bring ear plugs. They come in handy on planes and cruises or if you are traveling with a snorer.

This forum isn't the cruise line or a travel agency. No one here booked your cruise or picked your cabin. You have learned a valuable lesson though, always look at deck plans and see what is above and below your cabin. Who did you book your cruise with?
