This was our second crossing.  I am a big fan as we were able to completely disconnect from our electronic tethers.  It's amazing how quickly 8 days at sea can pass.  Celebrity ships are clean, modern, and designed so you can find your level of excitement or interaction.  It's hard to believe there were 2600 other passengers onboard. We are looking forward to our next cruise with Celebrity.  A big thank you our agent at who provided outstanding service and support.

We really enjoyed the 13 night transatlantic cruise to Southampton leaving on April 10th.  The food was excellent.  The entertainment was good - the production nights (all 3) were well done but it would be better to have some music that you are familiar with.  The other entertainment was good.  The comedian on the first night was terrible and no one laughed but other than that it was fine.  We had one bad experience in that the local guide in Spain to Santiago had very poor English and I felt we wasted $140. on that.  But taken as a whole we would do it again.  It was very affordable and the balcony was not obstructed.  The staff on the ship was fabulous.

My husband booked this for his birthday.  Ship was clean and cabin was nice.  Excellent cabin steward who brought anything we requested.  Loved the canapés every day to enjoy on the balcony with a glass of wine.  Evening shows were great especially the Three Tenors.

Celebrity creates a perfect environment for whatever level of experience  you want to enjoy. Their staff are incredibly well trained to make you feel pampered, nothing is too much trouble to ensure that your needs are met.

There are a wide variety of places on board to relax - as a mature couple  we loved spending time in the solarium where the pool was never crowded, noise level low and filtered  sun from the overhead solar panels. Nearby to that area is an excellent gym, fully equipped, and a spa with a marvelous area  called The Persian Garden. We treated ourselves to this upgrade  and used it every day,relaxing on ergonomic heated mosaic tiled beds followed by a session in the aromatherapy room. The Garden only has about  8 beds so very calm, few people at a time, gentle music piped through, Pure zen! Worth the fee of $159 a couple for the week.

We opted for the newer 'select dining' for evening meals that allowed us flexibility  of time and also the chance to eat with different companions. It occasionally required a short wait while a table became available  but on the whole it was a good decision.

Food was  delicious and varied. We used the ocean  buffet during the day, loved the 4-5am tea time with warm scones, cream and strawberry jam, tried out the sushi bar from  5 -5:30..well made, attractive presentation.

Prefer to arrange our own shore trips- still enjoy the independence and last minute freedom to choose depending on conditions that day.

Cozumel we rented a car for the day and drive round the island,stopping for lunch at Coconuts.

Cayman, took the very clean and safe Public Bus- they run frequently  on the main 7 mile beach road, $2.50 each for any distance, get off where ever you want. We went to the Turtle  farm. Super visit, had lunch there  and enjoyed seeing the tanks  of young turtles that you could hold- would be a perfect visit with kids. They can swim with them too in a beautiful tropical park environment.

Took bus back and got off at the Ritz Carlton where there was access  to the beach. The ship provided ample sized beach towels  and Celebrity  bags so we enjoyed an hour on the beach. Cayman was probably  the best stop in our opinion.

Jamaica  we took a cab to do a bamboo raft  ride on the Martha Brae river. Peaceful quiet jungle around us, birds, an excellent one and half hour trip with just us and Edgar who did the punting and guide.

Labadee was a beautiful palm beach area, local helpers brought sun beds to your spot and the ship put on a good buffet lunch. Exquisite scenery, perfect weather, great last port.

Saw a couple of good stage shows, bands elsewhere were OK, cabin stewards Wilson and Akhalish looked after us constantly. They were  incredibly attentive.

We had concierge and a balcony and have done that in the past 2 trips with Celebrity  and it's worth the extra. Very swift boarding process followed by a special luncheon as soon as you're  on board.

We love the Celebrity experience. Hope these comments from our recent trip(April 3 to 10 ) might be helpful to another traveler.

The ship was very clean and well organized.  The staff that cleaned our room was the best!!! They did an excellent job and worked efficiently around us being in and out of the room.  They spoke to us every time we saw them and were really friendly with our 10 year old son. We ususally had Jaeson as our dining room waiter in the Grand Cuvee and he was positive and always had a smile.  The staff at the excursions desk was efficient, helpful and offered several suggestions about excursions.  Entertainment was outstanding.  The cast was excellent and all shows were captivating.  We especially loved Life and Cosmopolitan. Kids program was the best we have experienced. We did notice some of the staff at the pool, buffet, and coffee shop were not as pleasant...seemed to be just doing their job not going to any extra effort to make the vacation rememberable. 

Staff was not at all attentive (except our cabin steward and the waiter in the Tuscan Grille).  Felt like we were doing them a favor by being there.  We never complain, but we did to the dining room manager - our waiter was downright rude.  Virtually no service by the pool - if you could find someone it was like pulling teeth to get them to serve you.  Ship was clean, food was average - buffet was the same every day except for the "carved meat of the day."  The Tuscan Grille (Specialty Restaurant) was amazing, and our waiter was fabulous.  The experience was a huge let down, especially because it was more expensive than any other cruise we'd been on. 

We won't be back to Celebrity.  We're going Royal Caribbean next time!

Celebrity Cruise Lines is one of our favorite and our expectations were exceeded this cruise. I can't say anything derogatory about the Silhouette, Staff, or itinerary. Ship was neat and clean, Staff helpful and always cheerful. There were more than enough activities aboard to cover all ages. Good shopping aboard too. One of the most efficient ship's staff, in my opinion, to date.

Celebrity Silhouette is a wonderful cruise experience.  We specifically appreciate the excellent service provided by Celebrity and the Silhouette is a nice size ship if you are looking for great service and terrific food. 

The Celebrity is for those that want to completely relax and enjoy serenity. Loved our ship and the cruise. Food is okay, nothing to brag about. The service was amazing, all of the dining servers were great and went the extra mile to make us happy! We felt rejuvenated and completely enjoyed how calming this cruise was!

Very clean ship; friendly and professional staff. Great ports of call. Enjoyed the Lawn Club experience.

Great food including the specialty restaurants! 

It was the most relaxing, care-free vacation I have had in a long time. I was part of the knitting group and the venue for class was so nice. The others giving the class and attending and providing supplies and yarn were just fantastic. I have new friends for life. The ship offered so many areas to sit and visit and knit. It could not have been any better. Just lovely. And looking forward to next year's knitting cruise!!!

We have traveled on multiple cruise lines previously and have not enjoyed the quality of entertainment and food that we experienced on this cruise. We did not do any specialty restaurants so this was general dining.  The only downside was that there was no jogging/walking track on the Silhouette except for a short track around the pool which was a joke.  Cleanliness was also the best from the exterior of the boat to food service to your stateroom.

Beautiful ship, excellent food.  Nice ports, though docked really late in San Juan, so not much time to do anything.  St. Maarten was beautiful (especially French side - Marigot).  Shows were good.  Pool was really crowded on sea days

We thoroughly loved our trip.  Perfect length, nice ports, good food, crew was exceptional and great weather.  It was also, nice to see a change in activities on the ship, live music and games at pool.  In the past on Celebrity, they were dull city(maybe past cruise directors).  I thinkyou need to go back to sail-away parties with finger food, music and specialty drinks.  Make experience more fun.

My only complaint was in the casino.  The slot machines were set with a very low percentage for winning and the crap table was ridiculous having a minimum of $10. People want to have fun on a cruise and will come back to Celebrity if they have a fair chance in the casino.  When you can go to a casino in port and see a mark difference on pay out, something needs to change.  At least the blackjack tables went $6???  Why not $5?  People will raise betting as they play.  But first, you have to have players.

All and all, this cruise was one of our best!

Very comfortable state room #1059.  Good location on the ship.  The food and the shows were excellent.  Late dining was a little too late for us.  St. Kitts was my favorite stop.  We went to Cockleshell Beach by taxi.  Great experience at an unspoiled beach.  Free lounge chairs and umbrellas.  $2.00 beers!   

I have done 8 cruises and once w Celebrity. This was my 1st cruise again after 9yrs. I was very pleased with the Silhouette and the celebrity experience. I will gladly do another cruise with celebrity again.

Everything was perfect.  Loved the Veranda room and will now only book these rooms as we enjoyed the view and balcony at sea and in port.  The service and food were both excellent and are the reason we keep going back to Celebrity.  This was my first time on this ship but would pack my bags and go back tomorrow.  

The service on the ship was excellent. Everyone on board was friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have would be to limit the amount of staff that are approaching you to inquire about upgrades to your packages especially the first couple of days. other than that we had a very good experience. I never had a desire to go on a cruise however after this trip we will definitely be returning

The celebrity silhouette was phenomenal.   A beautiful ship, friendly staff, awesome food and great drinks.  Everything about the ship was top notch.   The best vacation ever.  

The allowed us to relax during the several days at sea.  Though the pool area was somewhat crowded, there was no problem is locating lounge chairs in both the sun and shade on the pool and walking decks.  The ports of St Kitts and St. Martin provided a sufficient amount of shore experience.  The excursion desk is helpful but tends to overbook snorkeling tours and then cancels guest's reservations.  This is problematic because, at that point, most of the better excursions are no longer available.  The food is good, the specialty restaurants (Quisine, Tuscan, Mirano) are excellent.  The food at Blu (for Aqua Spa guests) is far better than the main dining room and there are mostly tables for 2 or 4 rather than the usual noisy dining room and "gang" size tables of 8 or 10.  If you want a romantic dinner, stay out of the main dining room.  The rooms are sufficiently spacious with enough room to store everything.  The rooms are kept extremely clean and the service is excellent.  Plenty to do and places to "hang out" on this spacious ship.  The shows are fine, the comics were very funny, the staff is helpful and friendly.  We have been on this ship three times and have rebooked for next winter.  Aqua Class provides you with many upgraded amenities- well worth the price difference.  ALso, lots less children running around than on other lines.
