If you're looking for an introduction to the UK this is an excellent choice. Spending one day in the ports of call was simply not enough to really get to know a city/port/area. But we have notes on what to see on our next trip.
Embarkation

Our first Celebrity Cruise and we did not know that our room key was in the slot outside our door. Might have been good to know that...
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The ship's decor and staff were great. The food... just ok.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not much in the way of activities. Lots of games like trivia, etc. The fitness center was good. The jogging track on deck 15 could be an obstacle course at times.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The first few shows were just ok, but they got better as the cruise went on. The Beatles Celebration tribute band was a big hit.
Children's Programs
no kids
Service and Staff

Benny, our room steward was great. The dining room staff was also very good. Aside from the hard sell for specialty dining and drink packages the rest of the wait and support staff were also very helpful and friendly.

This was out first Celebrity cruise and we were very pleased with the stateroom and the common areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

We thought our cabin was very nice overall. Not sure what we got for upgrading to Concierge Class though, aside from a bottle of bubbly the first day and our daily "snack". And many days we didn't take our "snack" because of our excursion timing.
We enjoyed the port at Dunmore East. Our excursion to Waterford and Kilkenny Castle was very nice. Lunch was included. Our tour guide pointed out the only pub in Dunmore East which we visited... Powers Bar - very cool place.
Did the independent Beatles Walking Tour which was a lot of fun. Enjoyed walking around the refurbished Royal Albert Docks. Lots of restaurants and shops to visit.
Our tour started at Stirling Castle and we only had about an hour or so, but could have spent much more time there. A quaint village for lunch and then a quick stop at Lock Lomond. Traffic was an issue here...
Probably our favorite. We had time to walk around Lerwick and see some of the historic sites like town hall and Fort Charlotte. The Mousa Island tour was excellent. Felt good to be walking on grass again!
We spent three days in Amsterdam before leaving for Rotterdam and the cruise. If you have a chance, this is a wonderful city to visit. Walking is easy and there are sites galore to explore. Get your Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank House tickets in advance. Highly recommend doing a canal tour! Our hotel staff at the Monet Garden Hotel gave us excellent directions and recommendations.
Typical. Wait in an area for your group to be called, go through security, hunt through the piles of luggage for yours (at least they were grouped by number). But the bus transfer to the airport was fine.
