Fascinating experience to do a transatlantic cruise. The scheduled stops were fascinating. Great adventure!

Embarkation

No lines - perfect!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was excellent. We had the "A Team" at Table 143 with Yeni, Mlabali and wine steward Mangus (This spelling is incorrect). Lloyd was amazing serving us at the Tuscan Grille.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Excellent gym and solarium pool.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Jayne Curry was fabulous, as was the saxophone player.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Nandah, our room steward in 9230 was fabulous. Every single employee was cheerful, kind, and gracious. Great human resources!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Everything worked well except the library. There were very few books - unique for all the cruises we've been on. And to have a near-empty library on a transatlantic cruise is unthinkable. Only other complaint is poor art choices in public areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

Wonderful bed and well appointed, thanks to our room steward.

Ship tip

Remember to pack books, as library barely exists.

Found a beach a very short walk from ship. It was perfect.

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

We took Celebrity's walking tour and the guide was fabulous.

Portland (Weymouth), England, UK

Loved the free bus to Weymouth. A great, and unexpected, stop on the trip.

Le Havre (Paris), France

4 out of 5
2-1/2 Hours by bus to Paris, and 3-1/2 hours back due to accidents both ways. We only stopped once for pictures. Cut the lunch down to a short stop so we can photograph highlight spots. While the guide is well educated, her accent was too hard to understand.

Southampton (London), England

5 out of 5
Conveniently near train station.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy.
