Review summary

I don't think I'll sail on the Silhouette again. The staff appears untrained and not not all that obliged to seek out correct information. When we pointed out some of the incorrect information we received, they just shrugged and basically referred us to someone else. Celebrity has too many great ships to weather that again. However, that said, the itinerary is awesome. I'd love to repeat the itinerary on a different ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Buffet food wasn't that good but the food in the dining room was great! Wouldn't bother with Murano again. Food was good, service was just okay. Wasn't worth the extra money.

Onboard Activities

Nothing going on that interested me.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

The ship's destination concierge was awful. Twice, she gave us incorrect information which cost us time. Our "Private Journey" was supposed to be 10 people but ended up with 20. in my opinion, 20 ppl crowded on a hot bus is in no way private. Went to a donkey sanctuary which was fun, other 2 stops pretty bad. Worst excursion ever and certainly not worthy of the additional $. I will never take another "private Journey". Jennifer, the DC was no help at all but did give us a 20% refund. So what? We blew a day of our vacation! Also, the information she gave us regarding shopping at Cariloha was way off. Sheets that were supposed to cost $125 was actually $200. Not really that big of a deal but we wasted time finding the store and tryingto buy the sheets at the price she gave us. Last but not least, we were doing BtoB and transferring to the Edge. We were twice told that we were on our own transferring luggage and getting to the Edge. We've done BtoB before so I know this couldn't be right. Finally got to the right person and she assured me that Celebrity would take care of transfer so all's well that ends well. Still, it burns vacation time when one has to deal with these kinds of issues. The dining room staff was okay but certainly not the excellent service we've received in the past.

We really didn't get to see it. Wasted all day on an awful private journey. I was told by other passengers that they have awesome beaches.

Disembarkation

Good, except for the confusing transfer information. Once that was straightened out, all went fine.

Thanks for the warning about the concierge staff. Haven't sailed with Celebrity yet but going concierge next year. We'll be sure to ask lots of questions.
